Mark Ellis

Mark Ian Ellis, born on September 30, 1988, is an English footballer who plays as a defender. He began his career at Bolton Wanderers and has played for various clubs including Crewe Alexandra, Shrewsbury Town, Carlisle United, and Tranmere Rovers. Ellis was released by Tranmere Rovers at the end of the previous season. He subsequently signed with Barrow on a two-year deal. Ellis has also had loan spells at Notts County. He has more than 400 senior games under his belt and has previously worked with Barrow's manager, Mark Cooper, at Forest Green Rovers.
